hmm..the character i like the most is lutong.he is a payient,sensible and fair person.his father feels that he has these qualities.i am so agree with it.furthermore,he is an obedient person.he obey his dying father'swish that he help the new chief.besides that, he is also a faithful and loyal.he does not betrayed.one more thing i like about him is,he isan intelligent and a perspective person.i think this the best character in the story.

This story is about how a peaceful, Melanau coastal town is renamed after abitter fight between 2 brothers,Galau and Umat.Galau,Umat and Lutong were three brothers whose their father was a chief.The wise old chief died without naming a successor.According to the tradition,the eldest son,Galau, who was a kind, just and fair person, should be chief.He is challenged by his younger brother,Umat, who was a brave, hot-tempered.Umat leaves and gets the help of enemy villagers.Meanwhile, Galau prepares his village for war.The bloody battle that follows leaves many people dead.The fighting continues for three days and three nights.flies swarm around the dead bodies.Therefore, the noble Galau renames the village Dalat that mean flies in memory of his brother, Umat, and yhe innocent people who died.I want the story end like,Lutong,Galau and Umat were not fighting each other.They follow the custom tha the eldest become the new chief.The interesting about this story is the brothers were fighting, just want to show who was the most qualified to be the new chief untill many people was dead.
